Three penguins from the Kansas City Zoo visited Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art during the temporary shutdown of the art museum. As the coronavirus closed the zoo, the penguins felt lonely and bored. Zookeepers decided to take them on a field trip and enjoy some artwork.
When the three penguins strolled in the museum, they would stop and look at the collection, just like most human tourists. The museum expected that the penguins would be more interested in the works by Monet, because they are soothing and feature water. However, penguins seemed to be more engaged with the Baroque works, such as those of Caravaggio.
