A statue dedicated to Diana, Princess of Wales, at Kensington Palace was unveiled in London on what would have been her 60th birthday by her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, whose joint statement read “Every day, we wish she were still with us.
”The bronze statue depicted Diana with children gathered in her arms. The memorial was meant to honor “her love, strength and character.” Ian Rank-Broadley, the statue’s sculptor, said he aimed to create a calming place for people to remember the princess. The garden is open to the public.
