With the success of Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin, Disney is moving forward to making another live action movie based on its iconic princesses. The next princess will be Snow White, the titular character from Disney’s very first feature-length animated film.
Rachel Zegler, a YouTuber-turned-actor, has been cast to play Snow White. She will make her feature film debut this year in West Side Story, directed by Steven Spielberg. Zegler worked hard to get this part and called the role a “dream come true.” The production is anticipated to begin in 2022.
