淘汰的舊家具，IKEA買回來IKEA to Buy Back its used furniture from customers

In the UK and Ireland, the famous Swedish brand IKEA is offering a chance for customers to trade in unwanted used IKEA furniture in exchange for store vouchers with no expiry date.

The value of the furniture traded in depends on its condition. An “as new” item may fetch up to 50% of its original price. Furniture must be fully assembled and sent back to the return desk to get a final-agreed value.

If a returned item cannot be resold as second-hand furniture, it will be recycled or donated to charity. The “Buy Back” initiative is part of IKEA’s sustainability strategy. It aims to become a more environmentally friendly company.
