Tourism English: At the Airport Customs

When getting through customs and immigration, the officer will ask you some routine questions. Here is an example:
Officer: What is the purpose of your visit?
You: I’m here on business.
Officer: How long are you planning to stay?
You: I’ll be staying for one week.
Officer: Do you have anything to declare?
You: No, nothing.
Officer: Enjoy your stay.
You: Thank you.

在機場通關入境檢查時，海關人員會進行一些例行提問，如以下範例：
海關人員：您此行的目的為何？
你：我來出差。
海關人員：您預計停留多久？
你：我會待一個星期。

routine (adj.) 例行公事的；習慣性的
He died during a routine operation which went wrong.
他因一次例行性手術出錯而死亡。

declare (v.) 申報（應納稅的貨物價值或收入）
I have nothing to declare.
我沒什麼需要申報。
