“Get the Hell Out,” a zombie-themed dark comedy, will be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival this year. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the festival selected just 50 films for this year’s downsized event, compared to the 245 films last year.
The film is about a group of people trying to find their way out amid a zombie outbreak in Taiwan’s Legislative Yuan. It is the debut work of Wang I-fang, the film’s director, and was filmed last year in Kaohsiung. It was released in Taiwan on Aug. 14 and is still playing in cinemas.
